Alyssa Michelle Stephens, professionally known as Latto or Big Latto, is an American rapper. She gained recognition after winning the first season of Jermaine Dupri's reality TV series The Rap Game in 2016. However, she declined the record deal offered to her. Latto's breakthrough came in 2019 with her single 'Bitch from da Souf', which made it to the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album 'Queen of da Souf' (2020) reached number forty-four on the Billboard 200 and produced the platinum-certified track 'Muwop' featuring Gucci Mane. In 2021, she was named MTV's 'Global Push Artist of the Month'. Latto's success continued with her hit single 'Big Energy', which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and went triple platinum.
