Laura Bell Bundy Biography
Laura Ashley Bell Bundy (born April 10, 1981) is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child actress and model, signing with Ford Modeling Agency in 1986. At the age of 9, she landed the lead role in the musical Ruthless! Bundy gained recognition for originating the Broadway roles of Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, earning a Tony Award nomination. She also ventured into country music, releasing two singles under Mercury Records Nashville. Bundy is a co-founder of Womxn of Tomorrow, a foundation that supports women's rights. Currently, she stars in the Broadway production of The Cottage. Born in Euclid, Ohio, she was raised in Lexington, Kentucky.
