Laura Bennett

Laura Eugenia Bennett is an American architect and fashion designer. She gained recognition as one of the four finalists on Bravo's Project Runway Season 3 in July 2006. Bennett was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Houston and a graduate degree from Columbia University in New York City. She has six children, including one daughter and five sons, from her first marriage and with her late husband, architect Peter L. Shelton. Shelton, co-founder of Shelton, Mindel & Associates, passed away in 2012. Bennett has also worked part-time at the design firm.More
