Laura Cayouette Biography
Laura Cayouette is an American actress who was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Maryland. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in English, and later earned an M.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of South Alabama. Before pursuing acting, Cayouette had various jobs including nightclub DJ, model, English professor, dress shop manager, and ticket taker at Universal City Walk Hollywood. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and later moved to Los Angeles in 1992, where she continued her studies with Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Ivana Chubbuck at her studio. Cayouette is best known for her role as Lara Lee Candie-Fitzwilly in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
