Laura Izibor

Laura Izibor is an Irish recording artist, musician, and producer. Born on May 13, 1987, in Dublin, Ireland, she is the fourth of five children. Izibor discovered her passion for music after singing a duet in her drama class and began writing songs at the age of 13. She taught herself how to play the piano at 14. In her early career, she won the 2FM Song Contest and received an award at the 2006 Meteor Music Awards. Izibor has opened for renowned artists like Aretha Franklin, India Arie, Estelle, Maxwell, and John Legend. She released her debut album, Let the Truth Be Told, in 2009. Izibor also appeared in the TV show One Tree Hill, portraying the character Erin Macree.
