Laura James

Laura Ellen James, born November 18, 1990, is an American model and actress. She gained recognition after winning the nineteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model in 2012. Following her victory, James signed with L.A. Models and New York Model Management. She is the daughter of American actor John James and Australian model Denise Coward, who was the second runner-up in Miss World 1978. Before her modeling career, James studied Hotel Resort Tourism Management at Paul Smith's College. Throughout the competition, James excelled, receiving three first call-outs and winning three challenges. She appeared in the bottom two three times but ultimately emerged as the winner of the cycle.
