Laura Silverman

Laura Jane Silverman is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. Born on June 10, 1966, she is the older sister of actress and comedian Sarah Silverman. Some of her notable TV appearances include portraying a fictionalized version of herself in Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic and The Sarah Silverman Program. She has also starred as Jane Benson on The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow and voiced Laura, the sarcastic receptionist on Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. In addition, she has made guest appearances in House and Nurse Jackie. Silverman comes from a Jewish family and graduated from Tufts University.
