Laurel Holloman is an American painter and actress, best known for her role as Tina Kennard in the TV series The L Word. Born in the United States, Holloman is the youngest of three siblings and graduated from Saint Mary's School. She studied Performance Communication at the University of North Carolina and later pursued painting and sculpting at UCLA and The San Francisco Art Institute. Holloman began her acting career in Chicago and New York City, appearing in stage productions such as The Glass Menagerie and The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. She also starred in David Orr's independent feature Blossom Time.
