Lauren Lakis

Lauren Lakis (born November 22, 1990) is an American film and stage actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Baltimore, Lakis developed an interest in acting while studying photography at Goucher College, where she obtained her bachelor's degree. She spent 10 years living in Los Angeles before recently relocating to Austin, Texas. Lakis is best known for her role as Karen in the film Confessions of a Teenage Jesus Jerk (2017). In addition to her acting career, Lakis has received acclaim as a singer and songwriter, with her album Daughter Language being released in 2021. Known for her distinct tones and honest songwriting, Lakis creates an ethereal and dreamy atmosphere with her organic compositions.
