Lauren Patten Biography
Lauren Marie Patten (born September 22, 1992) is an American actress, singer, and writer. She is best known for originating the role of Jo in the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill and playing Officer Rachel Witten in the crime series Blue Bloods. Patten won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in Jagged Little Pill. Born and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois, she began acting at a young age and started homeschooling in seventh grade to accommodate her career. Patten attended New York University and the University of Southern California before graduating with a BA in Creative Writing from The New School. In 2018, she came out as a queer bisexual woman.
