Lauren Potter

Lauren Elizabeth Potter (born May 10, 1990) is an American actress, advocate, and comedian known for her role as Becky Jackson on the FOX series Glee. Born with Down syndrome, Potter overcame challenges and began attending dancing and acting classes at a young age. She obtained her first acting role at 16, starring in the film Mr. Blue Sky. Potter's breakthrough came when she portrayed the recurring character Becky Jackson, a cheerleader with Down syndrome, on Glee from 2009 to 2015. In addition to her acting career, Potter is a passionate advocate for those with disabilities, working with various organizations such as AbilityPath, Best Buddies International, and the Special Olympics.
