Lauren Weedman Biography
Lauren Weedman (born March 5, 1969) is an American actress and comedian. She gained recognition for her regular role on the HBO television series Looking (2014–2015) and its subsequent series finale television film, Looking: The Movie. Weedman has also appeared in films such as Date Night (2010) and The Five-Year Engagement (2012). She has made guest appearances on various series including Hung, New Girl, and 2 Broke Girls. From 2001 to 2002, Weedman worked as a correspondent on The Daily Show. Apart from her acting career, Weedman has written and performed several one-woman/spoken word shows like Homecoming, BUST, and The People's Republic of Portland. She was born in Indianapolis, adopted, and later moved to Seattle in 1995. Weedman was married to Seattle writer Michael Neff until 2003. She currently resides in Santa Monica, California, and has a son named Leo, born in 2010 with her former boyfriend and director, Jeff Weatherford. They were married in 2012 and divorced the following year.
