Laurence Luckinbill is an American actor, playwright, and director. Born on November 21, 1934, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he has had a versatile career in television, film, and theatre. Not only has he acted in various productions, but he has also written, directed, and starred in stage productions. Luckinbill is well-known for his one-man shows based on the lives of notable figures like Theodore Roosevelt, Ernest Hemingway, and Clarence Darrow. He has also portrayed US President Lyndon Baines Johnson in a one-man show. Additionally, he is recognized for his role as Sybok, Spock's half-brother, in the film Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Luckinbill is the uncle of film directors Lana and Lilly Wachowski and is Roman Catholic.
