    Lauri Hendler is an American actress best known for her role as Julie Kanisky in the sitcom Gimme a Break! She also portrayed Little Lulu in the specials Little Lulu and The Big Hex of Little Lulu. Born and raised in the United States, Hendler was brought up by her mother, a physical therapist, along with her two siblings. She attended Beverly Hills High School and later studied at the University of California, Los Angeles. Hendler began acting professionally while still a student. Throughout her career, she has made guest appearances on popular television shows such as CHiPs, Lou Grant, Three's Company, Magnum, P.I., Mr. Belvedere, Charmed, The West Wing, Becker, Without a Trace, Strong Medicine, ER, and Veep.
