Laurie Segall (born August 18, 1985) is an American journalist known for her interviews with technology leaders such as Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook. She worked as the senior technology correspondent and an editor-at-large for CNN for over ten years. Segall is also recognized for her work on the investigative docu-series Mostly Human, which delved into the effects of technology on topics like sex, love, and death. Born to a Jewish family in the South, Segall attended Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in political science. She started her career at CNN as a news assistant and went on to produce several digital short-form series before creating Mostly Human, a successful exploration of technology's broader implications.
