Lauryn Ajufo Biography
Lauryn Ajufo is an English actress of Nigerian descent. Born in Southwark, London, she attended the BRIT School and joined the Youth Theatre at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. Ajufo was discovered in 2018 through a monologue slam competition and made her acting debut in Philip Barantini's 2019 short film 'Boiling Point'. She later appeared in Barantini's 2020 feature film 'Villain'. In 2021, Ajufo reprised her role in the feature length adaptation of 'Boiling Point' alongside Stephen Graham, earning critical acclaim. She was nominated for a British Independent Film Award for her breakthrough performance. Ajufo was named a 2022 Screen International Star of Tomorrow and was featured on the Evening Standard list of Londoners to watch.
