Lawrence Pressman

Lawrence Pressman, born David Milton Pressman on July 10, 1939, is an American actor known for his roles in various television shows and films. He is most recognized for his appearances on the TV series Doogie Howser, M.D., Ladies' Man, Profiler, and Mulligan's Stew. In addition, he portrayed a fictional scientist in the 1971 film The Hellstrom Chronicle. Pressman's acting career began with a role on the soap opera The Edge of Night, and he later starred in movies such as Shaft (1971), Making It (1971), 9 to 5 (1980), The Hanoi Hilton (1987), Trial and Error (1997), Mighty Joe Young (1998), and American Pie (1999). He has also made notable appearances in TV movies and guest roles on popular American TV shows such as Hawaii Five-O, The Bob Newhart Show, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
