Laya Lewis

Laya Aiesha Lewis (born 14 May 1992) is an English actress known for her role as Liv Malone in the fifth and sixth series of the E4 drama Skins (2011–2012). Born in South London, she grew up in Bristol. Lewis made her television debut in Skins after being chosen through open auditions in Bristol. In addition to her acting career, she appeared in Emeli Sandé's music video 'My Kind of Love' in April 2012. Lewis's mother was born in Britain to Jamaican parents who immigrated to England in the 60s as part of the Windrush generation. She attended Fairfield Secondary School and Cotham School's 6th Form.
