Lazaro Alonso, known professionally as Laz Alonso, is an American actor. Born on March 25, 1974, in Washington, D.C., he rose to prominence for his roles in popular movies such as Avatar, Fast & Furious, and Jarhead. Alonso's diverse filmography also includes appearances in This Christmas, Miracle at St. Anna, and Detroit. In 2019, he joined the main cast of the television series The Boys, portraying the character Marvin T. 'MM (Mother's Milk)' Milk. Prior to his acting career, Alonso worked as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch after earning a BBA in marketing from Howard University. He began his entertainment journey hosting shows on the BET network and has also made appearances in music videos by Toni Braxton and Aaliyah.
