Lea Salonga

Lea Salonga, born Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga on February 22, 1971, is a Filipina singer, actress, producer, and columnist. She is best known for her roles in musical theatre, including her breakthrough role as Kim in the musical Miss Saigon, which earned her the prestigious Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Salonga also gained recognition for supplying the singing voices of two Disney Princesses, Jasmine in Aladdin and Mulan in Mulan. In addition to her successful career in musical theatre, Salonga has achieved international fame as a recording artist and television performer, earning numerous accolades and honors throughout her career.
