Leah Bracknell

Leah Bracknell (12 July 1964 – 15 September 2019) was an English actress, best known for her role as Zoe Tate in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 1989 to 2005. She received a nomination for the 2002 National Television Award for Most Popular Actress and won the 2006 British Soap Award for Best Exit for her portrayal of Zoe. Aside from her acting career, Bracknell was also a qualified teacher with the British School of Yoga and had her own jewellery line. Born in Westminster, London, she grew up in London, Oxford, and spent time in New Zealand and Fiji.
