Lee Donoghue

Lee Donoghue (born 12 October 1983) is a New Zealand politician and former actor. He is best known for his role as Hunter McKay on the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. Lee grew up in Lower Hutt and attended Saint Bernard's College, where he was involved in cricket, debating, and served as a prefect. He began his acting career at a young age, starring in a TVNZ advertising campaign at 8 years old. He went on to appear in the television mini-series Fall Out, playing the character Byron Lange. Lee is currently a candidate for the New Zealand First party in the 2023 New Zealand general election.
