Lido Anthony 'Lee' Iacocca (October 15, 1924 – July 2, 2019) was an American automobile executive best known for his work at Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. At Ford, he played a key role in the development of iconic cars such as the Ford Mustang, Continental Mark III, and Ford Pinto in the 1960s. He later became the CEO of Chrysler in the 1980s and successfully revived the company. Iacocca authored and co-authored several books, including the popular Iacocca: An Autobiography and Where Have All the Leaders Gone? He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Italian American parents and had a successful career in the automotive industry.
