Leiomy Maldonado (born April 28, 1987) is a transgender Afro-Puerto Rican dancer, instructor, model, activist, and ballroom dancer. She is known as the 'Wonder Woman of Vogue' and is the founder of the House of Amazon. Maldonado rose to fame in the early 2000s in New York with her unique and athletic style of voguing. She gained further recognition as a member of the dance troupe 'Vogue Evolution', featured on Season 4 of America's Best Dance Crew. Maldonado has collaborated with artists such as Willow Smith, Icona Pop, and CocoRosie. Born in the Bronx, Maldonado discovered voguing at the age of 15 and has since become a prominent figure in the dance community.
