Len Lesser Biography
Len Lesser (Leonard King Lesser) was an American character actor best known for his roles as Uncle Leo on Seinfeld and Garvin on Everybody Loves Raymond. Born in New York City in 1922, Lesser enlisted in the United States Army after the attack on Pearl Harbor and served in the China Burma India Theater during World War II. He appeared on American television since 1955 on shows like That Girl, The Untouchables, Peter Gunn, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Gunsmoke, Green Acres, Get Smart, and The Rockford Files. Lesser was a prolific character actor in film, TV, and on stage, and he passed away in 2011.
