Lenka Peterson

Lenka Peterson (born Betty Ann Isacson; October 16, 1925 - September 24, 2021) was an American theater, film, and television actress. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she studied drama at the University of Iowa. Peterson's early career included performing in a USO-sponsored troupe that entertained military bases in the Pacific. She later acted on stage in various cities, including Pittsburgh, Boston, and Providence. As one of the first members of New York City's Actors Studio, she made numerous Broadway appearances, playing characters such as Ella in Sundown Beach (1948), Maude in The Grass Harp (1952), and Rose in Nuts (1980). Peterson also appeared in films and television shows throughout her career.
