Lenny Clarke Biography
Lenny Clarke (born September 16, 1953) is an American comedian and actor known for his thick Boston accent. He gained popularity as the role of Uncle Teddy on the series Rescue Me. Clarke was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and in his early life, he tried to campaign for mayor in Cambridge. During the 1980s, he was the most famous 'saloon comic' in Boston, a prominent figure in the local comedy scene. Clarke wrote and starred in a local television show called Lenny Clarke's Late Show in collaboration with comedians Steven Wright and Denis Leary. He also starred in his own short-lived network sitcom Lenny (1990).
