Lenny Wolpe Biography
Lenny Wolpe is an American musical theatre actor born on March 25, 1951, in Newburgh, New York. He has appeared in several Broadway musicals, including Wicked and The Drowsy Chaperone. After majoring in American history at George Washington University, Wolpe attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota to teach theater. He made his Broadway debut in Onward Victoria and has had other notable appearances in Copperfield, Into the Light, and The Sound of Music. Wolpe also played the role of Feltzeig, a producer, in The Drowsy Chaperone after being asked to audition by producer Roy Miller. Additionally, he created the role of the Wizard in Wicked's original workshops in Los Angeles.
