Leo Allen Biography
Leo Allen is an American stand-up comedian and writer, born on July 5, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan. He is known for being one half of the comedy team Slovin and Allen. Allen began his stand-up career in the late 1990s and gained recognition for his Comedy Central Presents special in 2001, where he showcased sketches like 'Time Machine' and 'Turkey Slapper' alongside his writing partner Eric Slovin. From 2002 to 2005, Allen and Slovin wrote for Saturday Night Live. He made his film debut in the 1997 comedy 'Who's the Caboose?' and has performed at various New York City comedy clubs and venues. Allen currently hosts 'Whiplash' at Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in NYC.
