Leo Sheng

Leo Sheng (born 1996) is a Chinese American actor and activist known for his role as Micah Lee on The L Word: Generation Q. He was born in Hunan, China and was adopted and raised by an American lesbian couple in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Sheng first gained attention when he documented his transition on YouTube and Instagram at the age of 17. He made his professional acting debut in the film Adam and also appeared in the documentary Disclosure. Sheng holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from the University of Michigan and was accepted into the school's social work graduate program but left to pursue his acting career. His portrayal of Micah Lee on The L Word: Generation Q makes him one of the few trans male actors with a leading role on a major TV series.
