Leon Bridges

Leon Bridges, born Todd Michael Bridges on July 13, 1989, is an American soul singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Bridges' musical journey began by playing the guitar and writing lyrics. He gained recognition after being signed by Columbia Records in December 2014, following numerous open-mic performances. His debut album, 'Coming Home,' released on June 23, 2015, received a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Bridges is known for his 1950s and '60s-style soul music, described as a heartfelt transmission. His rise in the music industry was aided by collaborations with guitarist Austin Jenkins and Joshua Block of White Denim.
