Leon Mobley (born February 27, 1961) is a percussionist, drummer, and actor. He is the founder and artistic director of Da Lion and Djimbe West African Drummers and Dancers. Mobley is also a member of the Innocent Criminals, Ben Harper's band. He has collaborated with Damian Marley and Nas on the album 'Distant Relatives' (2010). Beginning his career as a child actor on the PBS Television show 'Zoom' (1973), Mobley has since toured the world as a drummer and percussionist with Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals. He has studied under renowned master drummers Babatunde Olatunji and Ibrahim Camara. Mobley's talent and expertise have made him a respected figure in the music industry.
