Leonardo Cimino (November 4, 1917 – March 3, 2012) was an American actor known for his work in film, television, and stage. Born in Manhattan, Cimino initially pursued a career as a violinist, studying at the Juilliard School. However, he developed an interest in acting and dancing, and began studying those disciplines as well. Cimino made his professional stage debut in 1936 and went on to appear in numerous productions. He gained recognition for his roles in the original 1937 stage production of The Cradle Will Rock and the 1983 science fiction miniseries V, where he portrayed Abraham Bernstein. Cimino is also well-known for his role as the "Scary German guy" in the 1987 feature film The Monster Squad.
