Les Dennis, born Leslie Dennis Heseltine on 12 October 1953 in Garston, Liverpool, is an English television presenter, actor, and comedian. He is best known for presenting the popular game show Family Fortunes from 1987 until 2002. Dennis attended Stockton Wood and Joseph Williams primary schools before attending Morrison Rose Lane Secondary Modern school and Quarry Bank Comprehensive. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, performing in working men's clubs. In addition to his comedy work, Dennis has appeared in various television shows and films, including Coronation Street, Extras, and Merseyside Blues. He continues to be active in the entertainment industry, showcasing his versatile talents as an actor and presenter.
