    Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African actress born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town. She is best known for her role as Mazikeen on the popular television series Lucifer. Brandt is of Cape Coloured descent, with Indian, German, Dutch, Bushmen, and Spanish ancestry. Fluent in Afrikaans, she has a diverse range of interests including yoga, hockey, and baseball. Brandt immigrated to Auckland, New Zealand, in 1999 with her parents and younger brother. She initially worked in retail sales before transitioning to information technology recruitment and eventually pursuing a career in acting. Brandt received training in the Meisner technique and made her acting debut in the New Zealand series Diplomatic Immunity. She has also appeared in guest roles on Shortland Street and This.
