Lesley Arfin
Lesley Arfin (born 1979) is an American comedy writer and author. Born to a Jewish family in Long Island, New York, Arfin grew up in Woodbury, Nassau County, attending Syosset High School. She later attended Hampshire College. Arfin began her career as a contributor to Vice magazine in 2001, eventually becoming the editor-in-chief of Missbehave in 2008. She then transitioned to television, working as a staff writer for the HBO series Girls, and later on the TV series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Arfin is best known for co-creating the Netflix series Love with Paul Rust and Judd Apatow. Aside from her work in television, Arfin hosts the Earios podcast Filling the Void.
