Lesley Sharp

Lesley Sharp is an English stage, film, and television actress. Born in Manchester, England, Sharp was adopted at six weeks old and grew up in Merseyside. She attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 1982. Sharp's notable television roles include Clocking Off (2000-2001), Bob & Rose (2001), Afterlife (2005-2006), and Scott & Bailey (2011-2016). She received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the film The Full Monty (1997). Sharp has appeared in various films including Rita, Sue and Bob Too (1986), Naked (1993), Priest (1994), From Hell (2001), and Vera Drake (2004).
