Leslie Ackerman Biography
Leslie Ackerman is an American actress known for her roles in both theater and television. Born and raised in Springfield, New Jersey, she developed a passion for theater from a young age. In 1974, Ackerman made her mark on Broadway with her portrayal of Abigail in Mourning Pictures. She gained further recognition in 1980 as Barbara Skagska in the NBC drama Skag. Notable for her commitment to her roles, Ackerman underwent military training for her part in the 1979 television film Women at West Point. Star Trek fans may recognize her as the waitress in the 1996 episode 'Trials and Tribble-ations' on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Ackerman has also made guest appearances on popular television shows like Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco, All in the Family, and Welcome Back, Kotter.
