Leslie Bega

Leslie Rae Bega (born April 17, 1967) is an American former actress known for her roles as Maria on 'Head of the Class' (1986-1990) and Valentina La Paz on 'The Sopranos' (2002-2004). Born in Los Angeles to a Sephardi Jewish father and Russian Jewish mother, Bega's paternal grandparents immigrated to the United States from Spain. She speaks fluent English, Spanish, and French. Bega graduated as valedictorian from Lycée Français de Los Angeles and earned a degree in Cinema from the University of Southern California. In addition to her notable TV roles, she appeared in films such as 'Lost Highway,' 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,' 'C-16: FBI,' and 'Mobsters.' Bega also showcased her dancing skills in the breakdancing films 'Breakin' and 'Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.'
