Leslie Claire Margaret Caron (born 1 July 1931) is a French and American actress and dancer. She is known for her roles in classic films such as An American in Paris (1951), Lili (1953), Gigi (1958), and Father Goose (1964). Caron began her career as a ballerina before transitioning into acting. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades including a Golden Globe Award, two BAFTA Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
