Leslie Nipkow is an American essayist, television writer, playwright, and actress. She is known for her work as a script writer and script editor on soap operas such as As the World Turns and One Life to Live. Nipkow has received several nominations and awards for her writing, including a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Writing for One Life to Live in 2008 and a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Writing for As the World Turns in 2011. In addition to her television work, Nipkow has also written and performed in the play 'Guarding Erica,' which was published in the Vintage Books anthology 'Talk to Me: Monologue Plays.'
