Margaret Elizabeth Villari, better known as Libby Villari, is an American actress born on November 17, 1951, in North Carolina. She is recognized for her recurring role as Mayor Lucy Rodell on the hit TV show Friday Night Lights. Villari has also appeared in several notable films, including Boyhood, Infamous, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Boys Don't Cry, and The Faculty. Raised in California and later moving to Texas, she is an active performer in the Texas theatre community. Villari is a breast cancer survivor and holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of North Texas. She has a son named Lyn William Villari and is a proud grandmother of two grandchildren.
