Lil Wayne

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born on September 27, 1982, Lil Wayne is considered one of the most influential hip hop artists of his generation. He gained recognition in 1995 when he signed with Cash Money Records, becoming the youngest member of the label. Lil Wayne has released numerous successful albums and is often cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time. He rose to prominence as a member of the Southern hip hop group Hot Boys, releasing their debut album in 1997. Lil Wayne's career has been marked by his association with Cash Money Records, where he was the flagship artist until 2018.
