Lily James

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, known professionally as Lily James, is an English actress. Born on April 5, 1989, she studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. James gained recognition for her role as Lady Rose MacClare in the popular period drama series Downton Abbey from 2012 to 2015. She achieved breakthrough success with her portrayal of Cinderella in the 2015 fantasy film of the same name. James has since appeared in various notable projects, including the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and films such as Baby Driver (2017), Darkest Hour (2017), Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), Yesterday (2019), and The Dig (2021).
