Lily Tomlin

Mary Jean 'Lily' Tomlin is an American actress, comedian, writer, singer, and producer. She began her career in stand-up comedy and sketch comedy before transitioning to acting onstage and on-screen. Tomlin is best known for her breakout role on the variety show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In from 1969 to 1973. She has won numerous awards including seven Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and two Tony Awards. Tomlin's most notable role was in the Broadway show The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, which earned her a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. She continues to be a prominent and influential figure in the entertainment industry.
