Linda McCartney

Linda Louise McCartney, Lady McCartney (née Eastman; September 24, 1941 – April 17, 1998) was an American photographer, musician, animal rights activist, vegetarian cookbook author and advocate, and entrepreneur. She was the keyboardist in the band Wings, which also featured her husband, Paul McCartney of the Beatles. Linda began her career as a photographer in the mid-1960s, capturing performances at the Fillmore East and becoming the first woman to have a photograph on the cover of Rolling Stone. Her photographs were exhibited in prestigious galleries and museums. Linda McCartney was a multi-talented artist and advocate who made significant contributions in various fields throughout her life.
