Linda Thorson is a Canadian actress known for her portrayal of Tara King in the TV series The Avengers (1968-69). She was born Linda Robinson on June 18, 1947, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After attending Bishop Strachan School, she moved to the UK in 1965 to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Graduating with an Honours Diploma, she began her career in the entertainment industry. Linda has been married multiple times, including to Cyril Jeffrey Smith Jr., with whom she divorced after two years, and Bill Boggs, an American news anchorman and producer, with whom she has a son. She is also known for her ability to switch between her native Canadian accent and received pronunciation.
