Linden Ashby Biography
Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby III, born May 23, 1960, is an American actor known for his work in both television and film. He portrayed Brett Cooper on the Fox soap opera Melrose Place from 1997 to 1999 and Sheriff Noah Stilinski on MTV's Teen Wolf from 2011 to 2017. Ashby's notable film role includes playing Johnny Cage in the 1995 adaptation of the video game franchise Mortal Kombat. Born in Atlantic Beach, Florida, Ashby is the son of Eleanor and Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby Jr. He attended The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida, and later studied acting at Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Ashby's first TV role was on the ABC soap opera Loving in 1985, where he played Curtis Alden.
