Linden Chiles Biography
Truman Linden Chiles (March 22, 1933 – May 15, 2013) was an American character actor known for his roles in various television shows. Born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Barrington, Illinois, Chiles graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. He also studied at Purdue University and UCLA and served in the Army. Chiles appeared in several popular television series, including CBS's East Side/West Side, NBC's Convoy, Banacek, and James at 15. He also made guest appearances on CBS's Perry Mason and Mannix. Chiles' notable roles include Charles Hanson, Steve Kirkland, Henry DeWitt, and Paul Hunter.
