    Lindsay Pearce is an American actress and singer known for her work in musical theatre. She made her Broadway debut as Elphaba in Wicked in February 2020 and later appeared as Janis Sarkisian in Mean Girls during its national tour in May 2022. Pearce has also performed in various regional theatre productions, including portraying Wendla in Spring Awakening, Ivy in Bare: A Pop Opera, and Whatsername in American Idiot. In addition, she gained recognition as a finalist on The Glee Project, leading to a guest starring role on the TV show Glee in 2011. Born on April 30, 1991, in Modesto, California, Pearce was adopted by Carol and Gregory Pearce and grew up in a sports-oriented family.
